Anthony Thomas Galante is a luxury Women’s and Men’s ready-to-wear and custom label established and directed by Anthony Galante in New York.

ATG is passionate about pairing innovative and inclusive designs with mindfully sourced materials to create one of a kind clothing. With proven expertise in designing both womenswear and menswear, Galante empowers the label to produce exquisite collections and engaging custom pieces that invite customers to take part in a unique high fashion experience tailored to exceed their creative expectations.

Conceptualized during his youth in Illinois where he was born and raised and ignited during the most difficult season of his life after his mother passed away, Galante’s love for fashion launched him in a new direction towards true fulfillment and purpose.

A sewing class awakened his thrill for designing, which led him to enroll full time at Parsons School of Design. While at Parsons, Galante interned with New York based CDFA Incubator designer Charles Youssef and Altuzarra. With an extensive depth of knowledge and experience in fashion design, development, and production, Galante established Anthony Thomas Galante in 2017 shortly after graduating from Parsons and becoming the inaugural winner of the Norman Norell Couture Design Award presented through a partnership between Parsons, Norell Fragrances, and Neiman Marcus.

Galante considers his career in fashion to be his second act. Prior to becoming a fashion designer, Galante led fundraising and development initiatives in the nonprofit sector where he developed a keen understanding of building and fortifying relationships, managing end-to-end projects, and developing strategies to realize success – skills he continues to leverage today coupled with the invaluable knowledge and techniques he has mastered as a designer and recently as Studio Manager and Development Coordinator for CLAUDIA LI.

Galante’s mission is for ATG to create and provide elevated day and evening wear with a twist for the refined individual who seeks a distinctive wardrobe, and he is motivated by opportunities to see his customers feeling confident and happy in their own skin. Notable celebrities including Catherine O’Hara, Chrissy Metz, Rosie O-Donnell, Kim Petras, and Yance Ford have worn custom looks designed by Galante, which has allowed ATG to advance its reach internationally. ATG has also been featured in Dujour, Modern Luxury, Jejune, and Latest magazines, and its first collection was sold by Neiman Marcus.

Driven by the thrill of creating clothing that celebrates diversity and promotes body positivity, Galante caters to each made-to-measure customer’s desire to look and feel their best. He and his team create made-to-measure and custom commissions by appointment in New York. He invites anyone eager to express themselves through fashion to join him on a creative journey.

Galante and his husband, Alex, reside in Brooklyn.
